Holofish recognises the species and measures the length with LiDAR, a tape measure in the picture or a credit-card-sized reference card. The weight is estimated from length and species. No signal at the water? The card waits, sealed.
Fish-tale filter Holding the fish out at arm’s length? Won’t help here. LiDAR measures real depth.

155 species in your Dex.
From minnow to bluefin tuna. Every species has a profile in the lexicon, even offline. And every catch earns XP towards your next level.

Your fishing year at a glance.
Your biggest fish, every fishing day on a calendar and your personal bests per species. Plus adds bite times, moon phases, waters and baits.
For back home Finally an answer to where you actually were every Saturday.
Community
Tight lines from the community.
Follow other anglers, give a Petri Heil and comment on catches. Compete on the leaderboards of every species, worldwide, in your country or your region. Your exact spots stay private.
House rule Envy is allowed, as long as you say Petri Heil.
Tournaments
Who lands the biggest?
Seasonal tournaments with clear rules, for example LiDAR-measured catches only. Win engraved trophies, pieces for your vitrine and days of Plus. No entry fee, no cash prizes. Some tournaments are open to everyone, some need Plus.

Invites
Fishing’s better with a buddy.
You both get +5 extra catches.
Share your code from the app with your fishing friends. Your buddy gets +5 extra catches right away, and you get +5 as soon as they reveal their first catch with the Holofish camera. Extra catches never expire. That works for up to 5 friends, and the buddy float joins your vitrine.
Your buddy redeems the code within 14 days of signing up.

Quick answers.
What does Holofish cost?
Downloading is free, and your first 5 catches are on us. After that, Holofish Plus keeps you going without limits, as a monthly or yearly subscription through the App Store. You see the price in the app before you sign up for anything. Invites add +5 extra catches for both of you, and they never expire.
What does Holofish Plus include?
Unlimited catches, full stats with the catch map, bite times and moon phases, video export and the Plus tournaments. Tiers are never for sale: Plus doesn’t make you rarer, just freer.
Can anyone see my fishing spot?
No. You only share your location if you want to. We store exact coordinates encrypted and show them to you alone. Others see a rough region at most, such as a state or county. Your hotspot stays your hotspot. More in the privacy policy.
Do I need an iPhone with LiDAR?
No. With LiDAR (iPhone Pro models) Holofish measures the length directly. Without it, the app reads a tape measure in the picture or uses a credit-card-sized card as a reference. You can also type in the length yourself; the catch then counts as unverified.
Is Holofish available for Android?
For now it’s iPhone only.
Does the fish have to stay out of the water for long?
No. One photo is enough, the card is made afterwards. And if there’s no signal at the water, it waits, sealed, until you’re back in range.
